5 Hour "No Peek" Beef Stew

Cover and place in oven and cook for at least 5 hours at 250\u00b0. Do not remove lid during cooking time.
\"No peek.\" Can also be cooked in crock-pot on high for 4 1/2 hours, but better in the oven.

No Peek Beef Casserole(For The Crock-Pot)

Combine all ingredients in crock-pot.
Stir together well. Cover and cook on low 8 to 12 hours (high 5 to 6 hours). Serve over noodles or rice. This recipe can be doubled.

Put meat in buttered casserole.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Slice 2 onions or add 1/2 package onion soup mix.
Add carrots and potatoes (whole or halved) on top of meat.
Cover with 1 can tomato soup.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 4 hours.

Layer ingredients in a 2-quart casserole dish in order given. Put a lid on the dish or aluminum foil.
Bake at 300\u00b0 oven for 3 hours and do not peek.
Serve over cooked egg noodles.
