No Peek Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef
    1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    2 (3 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms
    1 can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together in a 2-quart casserole dish and cover tightly.
    (I use a Corning Ware dish with glass lid.)
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Do not peek.
    Serve over noodles or rice.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
