Tamarillo Steak Casserole

Toss cubes of steak in a mixture of flour and salt and pepper.
Place in a casserole and cover with the bacon.
Cover with a layer of tamarillos, a layer of onions, then a layer of potatoes.
Cover tightly and bake at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 2 hours.
About 30 minutes before the end of cooking remove the lid and dot the potatoes with butter.

Easy Round Steak Casserole

Pound or have butcher pound large slice round steak.
Trim fat and cut in serving slices.
Brown meat in light oil.
Add salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
Set aside.

Steak Casserole

Salt, pepper and roll in flour 4 servings cubed chuck steak. Brown chopped onion.
Brown both sides of steak in frying pan. Place in casserole.
Pour almost all grease from pan with browned, chopped onion over steak.
Pour over steak 1 can mushroom soup mixed with 3/4 cup water.
Then place browned onions on top. Bake, covered, for 2 to 3 hours or until steak is tender at 250\u00b0 to 300\u00b0.

Cube Steak Casserole

Roll cube steak in flour; salt and pepper to taste; brown in greased skillet on both sides.
Place meat in casserole dish or crock-pot.
Mix soup, gravy, and water.
Pour over meat.
Cover and cook 2 hours at 350\u00b0 in casserole dish, or start on high for 1/2 hour in crock-pot, then cook on low until tender.

Swiss Steak Casserole

Mix flour with salt, pepper and paprika.
Rub steak with garlic and roll in seasoned flour.
Brown onions lightly in melted Spry.
Remove onions.
Sear meat quickly on both sides (not brown) and put in casserole, greased with Spry.
Place onions, rice and tomatoes on top of meat.
Add remainder of flour mixture to Spry in skillet and blend until smooth.
Add hot water gradually and cook until smooth.
Strain over meat in casserole.
Cook covered in moderate oven for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
Serves 6.

Cube Steak Casserole

Brown cube steak and cut into bite size pieces.
Place steak in bottom of deep casserole dish.
Cut butter and place over steak.
Pour rice over this.
Pour soup mix and dissolved bouillon over rice, then add water.
Cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. (Do not batter cube steak).

Round Steak Casserole

Pound flour into meat; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Roll up and secure with toothpicks.
Alternate layers of steak, onion slices and carrots in a casserole dish.
Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with steak.
Cover with boiling water.
Cover casserole dish and bake at 325\u00b0 for 3 hours.
Add water as necessary.
Remove cover and brown if needed.
Yield: 4 servings.

Make thin (light brown) gravy.

Meal In One Dish Steak Casserole

Place steak in a long casserole; add salt and pepper.
Dot top of steak with butter and add Worcestershire sauce.
Then add potatoes, sliced in large pieces, onions, carrots ( whole or sliced) and the bell pepper.
Cover casserole with heavy foil. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Remove foil and cook 15 minutes longer, until browned.

Salt steak; pound in flour.
Cut steak in 1-inch cubes.
Brown in skillet.
Put in casserole dish and add potatoes, carrots and onion soup.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.

Slice round steak into serving sizes.
Layer sliced steak, sliced onion and sliced steak to top of casserole.

Add about 1/2 cup water.

For crust, combine fritos, pita and egg.
Spread in casserole dish.
In bowl, combine frozen veggies, milk and nacho cheese.
Pour over crust layer.
In Saute pan, brown beef and steak.
Season meat with french fry seasoning, mexican seasoning, salt and pepper, to taste.
Sprinkle beef mixture on top of casserole layers.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Break american cheese into small pieces and layer on top.
Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
Serve with sour cream.

Heat soup with margarine and pour over casserole.

Pour over steak, cover and bake for 2 hours in a moderately hot oven. Remove from oven, put cheese on top and return to oven, uncovered, until cheese melts.

Use pepper (no salt).
Cut in bite size pieces after browning.
Mix soup, water and garlic.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Put steak and liquid in covered casserole dish and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.

Spray casserole dish with Pam (13 x 9-inch size).
Cut steak in small pieces.
Cut potatoes in round slices.
Brown steak in frying pan and then place in baking dish.
Layer potatoes, green beans and then mix together the 2 soups and pour over meat and veggies.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
