Bethal'S Rye Bread Dip With Dried Beef And Dill

If you prefer the dip not be salty, first rinse the dried beef & dry, prior to chopping it.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Refrigerate a few hours. However, it is better if it sits over night.

Chop dried beef to shreds. Mix all ingredients.
Let flavors blend several hours, refrigerated.
Cut out center of bread leaving \"boat\" of bread.
Fill with dip just before serving.

S.O.S Dip (A.K.A Dried Beef Dip)

Add mayonnaise and mix again.

**Note: Do not add salt, the dried beef is very salty.

Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Great on crackers, especially Melba toast or rye thins!

Soak the minced onion in the sherry.
Meanwhile, stir together the cream cheese, green olives, mayonnaise, and chopped dried beef.
Add the onions and sherry mixture. Stir well.
Serve on Rye Krisp crackers.
Best of made 6 to 8 hours ahead of time.
