Rye Boat Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. mayonnaise
1 pt. sour cream
5 oz. dried beef (chopped) (2 or 3 pkg.)
1/4 c. (2 Tbsp.) chopped onion
2 Tbsp. parsley
1 tsp. dill
garlic salt
bread (marble rye or pumpernickel)
Preparation

Chop dried beef to shreds. Mix all ingredients.
Let flavors blend several hours, refrigerated.
Cut out center of bread leaving \"boat\" of bread.
Fill with dip just before serving.
Cut center of bread into bite-sized chunks.
Place around bread boat for dipping.
