Mom'S Hot Crab Dip

In a medium bowl, beat heese, then mash in crab meat.
Stir in shallots, lemon juice and hot pepper sauce.
Spoon into 3 cup baking dish.
Sprinkle with almonds, dot with butter.
Bake in 350 F oven for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Hot Crab Dip Elegante

Melt cream cheese in top pan of a double boiler set over low heat. Blend in mayonnaise, garlic, onion, mustard, sugar and salt. Stir in crab meat and wine.
Heat through.

Bobby’S Hot Tomato, Jack And Crab Dip

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 1 quart baking dish with nonstick spray.
In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese, pepper Jack, mayonnaise, lime juice, and hot sauce until smooth. Fold in the crabmeat, tomatoes, green onions, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Smooth the mixture into baking dish. Bake until golden and bubbly, about 30 minutes.
Split, pit, peel, and dice the avocados and sprinkle them over the crab dip after it has cooled slightly. Serve warm.

Hot Crab Teaser (Or Creamy Hot Crab Dip)

Puree the cream cheese, mayonnaise and garlic in a food processor or blender until smooth. Transfer to a sauce pan or microwave safe bowl.
Stir in the crab meat, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, Worchestershire and red hot pepper sauce.
Cook over low heat, stirring often, or heat in microwave until steaming hot. Spoon into a serving bowl, sprinkle with chopped scallions and serve with crackers.
