Cover sides and bottom of a deep casserole dish.
Mix all of the other ingredients and pour into dish.
Place slices of light bread on top.
Some of the pecans can be reserved to be placed on top of light bread.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Boil celery and onion in water then add margarine.
Let cool. Combine corn bread, light bread, broth, celery, onion, sage, salt and pepper.
Add beaten eggs last with flour mixing lightly, but thoroughly.
Spread mixture in baking dish or large pan with non-stick vegetable spray.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.

8 to 12 servings.
Dressing is sufficient to stuff a 12 pound turkey.
Cook a skillet of corn bread according to directions, except add fewer eggs.
Bake.
Crumble corn bread.
Toast 4 pieces of light bread in corn bread.
Cook the celery and onion in chicken broth until tender.
Pour mixture in corn bread; mix with a fork until moist (not wet).
Add the sage and black pepper.
Eat as is, or bake and eat with chicken gravy.
Toast day old light bread.
Corn bread, light bread, onion and celery are chopped in a food processor.
Add sage to these ingredients.
Add salt and pepper.
Place in sealable container and place in refrigerator overnight.
When ready to cook, add eggs, melted margarine and stock.
Mixture should be soupy.
(Cake batter consistency.)
This is the secret of good dressing.
It will cook dry.
Preheat oven to 325*.
Put bread in a greased 9 x 9 pan
Combine all ingredients and pour over bread.
Bake uncovered for one hour.
Stewart's was a drug store in Waikiki, Hawaii that had a small restaurant. They were famous for their orange bread that they served plain, toasted or in French toast.
Put sugar, salt, soda and baking powder in a bowl; add buttermilk.
Stir well.
Then add cornmeal and flour alternately. Melt margarine in an iron skillet or baking pan in a 350\u00b0 oven. Pour mixture in a hot pan or skillet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until light golden brown.
Best when margarine is melted on top while still hot.
Sift all dry ingredients; add buttermilk and mix thoroughly. Melt shortening (or oil).
Make sure sides of pan are covered lightly with oil.
Pour remaining oil into corn bread mixture and blend.
Bake in loaf pans at 375\u00b0 for 55 minutes.

Fry bacon in

350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.

Melt shortening in loaf pan.
Add to mixture.
Sprinkle a little corn meal in loaf pan.
Heat pan. Pour mixture into hot pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.

in 2 loaf pans for 45 to 60 minutes.
Start at 325\u00b0 and turn back to 250\u00b0 for last half of time.
Mix all together and cook in a Bundt of tube pan that has been greased.
Steam first for 15 or 20 minutes by placing the pan of batter in a large, covered pan with about 1-inch of water.
(I use a 9 x 13-inch cake pan and cover it with heavy aluminum foil.) Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes or until brown.
