Pineapple Cake

Prepare pineapple cake according to package directions.
Leave cake in pan.
Mix remaining ingredients and boil for 5 minutes. Pour over hot cake.
This cake is better after it sits.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Melt butter, brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of pineapple juice in a saucepan.
Spray sides and bottom of a cake pan.
Pour brown sugar mixture into it.
Arrange pineapple rings and cherries on top.
Prepare cake mix according to directions on package, or make your favorite cake recipe and pour over mixture in cake pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
Let stand to cool a few minutes, then invert onto a plate.

Swedish Pineapple Cake

Mix eggs, sugar and pineapple in large bowl.
Add flour, soda, salt, vanilla and nuts.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350\u00b0 (sheet pan at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes).
Cake will be golden brown.
Test with toothpick.

Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

Mix all ingredients together.
Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Use Swedish Nut Cake Icing.

Margaret'S Swedish Pineapple Cake

Preheat oven to 350.
Grease and dust with flour 9 x 13 cake pan.
Combine butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
Add pineapple, baking soda and 1 teaspoons vanilla, and 1/2 cup chopped pecans, then stir in flour.
Pour batter into prepared cake pan and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
After cake has cooled completely, combine remaining ingredients for frosting, beating until smooth. Make sure cake is cool before frosting.
