Saut sauerkraut, mushrooms and onions in butter until lightly browned.
Stir in boiled noodles and browned kielbasa. Serves 8 to 10 people as a side dish.

Sauerkraut Relish

In a bowl, combine sugar, salad oil and vinegar; stir thoroughly and set aside.
In a pot, combine onions, celery, peppers and drained (not rinsed) sauerkraut.
Bring to a boil, mixing thoroughly for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Pour oil/vinegar mixture over it and mix thoroughly.
Cover and chill for 1 hour before serving.
Makes a good side dish.

Rinse sauerkraut in warm water and drain.
In a covered pan, simmer kraut in butter for 30 minutes.
Add pinapple and juice and simmer for 30 minutes longer.

Put Crisco or oil in pan.
Add flour and cook until dark brown.

Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil.
Mix all other ingredients. Pour vinegar mixture over.

Keeps 2 to 3 weeks in refrigerator.

German Sauerkraut Salad

Combine ingredients.
Cover and chill overnight.
Drain before serving.
Serve as side dish or relish for bratwurst or burgers. Will keep one week.

Pork Roast And Sauerkraut

Season roast with salt and pepper; brown in a skillet, then transfer to a roasting pan.
Combine undrained kraut with remaining ingredients; spoon over roast.
Simmer in a 350\u00b0 oven, covered, for 1 3/4 hours or until done.
Baste with juice during last 1/2 hour.
Skim excess fat.
Slice roast and serve kraut as a side dish.

Fry sausage with onion.
Put into casserole dish.
Drain sauerkraut and put on top of sausage.
Make mashed potatoes and, while whipping potatoes, add grated Cheddar cheese.
Put on top of sauerkraut; sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Bake for about 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Enjoy.

Brown ground beef and onion.
Drain.
Mix soups with a little milk in a saucepan and warm slightly.
In a large baking dish layer:
ground beef-onion mixture, sauerkraut and drained noodles. Pour soup mixture over layers.
Cover well.
Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 30 minutes more.
Bake with lid on baking dish.

Sauerkraut Hot Dish

Brown meat in skillet.
Add onions and celery.
Cook until onions are transparent.
Stir in sauerkraut, noodles, soup and mushrooms; season with salt and pepper.
Spoon into a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
Stir occasionally.
Serves 6 to 8.

Sauerkraut Hot Dish

Brown beef and onion together; drain fat. Layer half of the beef onion mixture in a 7x11 inch baking dish. Cover with Sauerkraut and top with the remaining meat-onion mixture. Put uncooked noodles on the top. Spread soups over the noodles. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake 30 minute more.
