Pork Roast And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 any size pork roast or 3 lb. spareribs
1 c. finely chopped apple
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 lb. 11 1/2 oz. jar sauerkraut
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
1 c. shredded carrot
1 onion, sliced
Preparation

Season roast with salt and pepper; brown in a skillet, then transfer to a roasting pan.
Combine undrained kraut with remaining ingredients; spoon over roast.
Simmer in a 350\u00b0 oven, covered, for 1 3/4 hours or until done.
Baste with juice during last 1/2 hour.
Skim excess fat.
Slice roast and serve kraut as a side dish.
Serves 6.
