Everything should be drained real good.
Fry bacon crisp. Drain on paper towel.
Saute chopped onion in bacon grease until light golden brown.
Drain on paper towel.
Drain 2 cans kraut and put in mixing bowl.
Drain whole tomatoes; cut up tomatoes before putting them in mixing bowl along with kraut, bacon and onion. Add brown sugar.
Mix all this together in the bowl so the sugar is mixed good, then put it in baking dish and bake 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
Drain all ingredients thoroughly.

Can of kraut and tomatoes should be same size and drained well.
Recipe based on 16 ounce size.
Wash kraut one can at a time.
Chop onion and add to kraut. Put in a heavy pot and cover.
Add water just to top off kraut and boil on medium heat for 4 to 5 hours.
You may have to add more water while cooking.
Cook down dry.
Grate potatoes.
When kraut is cooked dry, place potatoes on top of kraut.
Fry bacon.
Pour hot bacon grease over kraut and potatoes.
Crumble bacon on top of kraut and potatoes and simmer for about 30 minutes.
Delicious with dried beans and corn bread.
Drain kraut very well.
Mash to get all brine out of kraut. Add kraut, green pepper, onion, celery in bowl.
Combine sugar, vinegar, oil - mix well. Add to kraut mixture.
Let stand overnight to marinate.

Heat your wieners in microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove from microwave; slice in half lengthwise.
Heat your skillet; add 1/2 cup butter.
Lay your sliced wieners face down and brown; also lay your bun face down and heat.
Heat your kraut also in skillet, enough to warm up.
Place wieners on bun.
Place kraut over wiener and add grated cheese over top of kraut and microwave for approximately 2 minutes to melt cheese.
Mix sugar, vinegar and oil while kraut is draining.
Combine vegetables and add to drained kraut.
Pour vinegar mixture over kraut and vegetables.
Chill overnight.
Put kraut as it comes out of can in a large skillet; add 1 can water, minced onion, caraway seed and meat (cut as desired).
Add Equal.
Put lid on so flavor of meat and seed with kraut will blend.
Put on high heat until it starts to boil.
Turn heat down to simmer until most of water and juice is thoroughly blended. Cook for approximately 1/2 hour, until consistency is to your taste.

Stir frequently, so sausage does not burn.
If you wish, you can cook potatoes in with kraut.
Heat bacon grease in frying pan.
Add kraut and cook for about 15 minutes.
Pour eggs over kraut and stir well.
Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until eggs are done.
Drain most of juice from kraut.
Brown pork chops and chopped onions in 1/2 stick butter.
Put kraut in baking dish, then pork chops and sauteed onions.
Pour mushroom soup over all and put onion rings on top.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven until chops are tender.
Brown sausage and drain well.
Drain kraut well.
Let cream cheese soften.
Mix all sausage, kraut and cream cheese by hand. Let chill in fridge for a couple of hours.
Form into balls.
Dip balls into beaten egg, then roll in bread crumbs and parsley. Bake 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cook noodles in boiling water with salt.
Drain.
In frying pan, braise onions in butter.
Add kraut and cook until lightly brown.
Add noodles to kraut mixture.
Add cheese and sour cream just before serving.
Cook kraut.
Be sure there is enough water to cover dumplings. Salt to taste.
Drop by spoonful into hot kraut.
Cook until done.
