Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can kraut
    2/3 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Rinse and drain kraut.
    Bring the sugar and vinegar to a boil. Let it cool.
    Add remaining ingredients to kraut.
    Pour sugar and vinegar over the kraut.
    Refrigerate 24 hours.
