Melt butter, add flour and milk.
Bring to a boil.
Add chipped beef and stir constantly.
Serve over toast.
One pound hamburger, crumbled, browned and drained can be used.
Soak chipped beef (broken) in hot water while making gravy.
Shred beef into small pieces.
Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.
Saute onion until tender.
Sprinkle in flour, stirring constantly until smooth.
Gradually stir in milk and cook 5 to 8 minutes more, until sauce is thick.
Add beef, then pepper and salt to taste.
Add parsley and remove from heat.
Serve on toast or waffles.
Serves 4.
In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter and saute the onion until clear.
Stir in the flour with a whisk and the hot milk, stirring all the time, until the mixture thickens.

Cut up the package of chipped beef into small pieces.
Add the 1 pkg of softened cream cheese.
Add 1 Tablespoon of Miracle Whip.
Add 1 Tablespoon of lemon juice,.
Add 1 whole bunch of finely chopped green onions.
Serve at room temperature for easy spreading on crackers.
Cream melted butter and chipped beef in saucepan or fry pan. Frizzle lightly.
Blend in flour to chipped beef; add milk slowly, stirring constantly, until reaching desired consistency.
Serve on toast or waffles or over scrambled eggs.
To make a medium white sauce, combine butter, flour, milk and salt in double boiler.
Stir with slotted spoon until flour, butter, milk and salt are stirred in and melted.

After white sauce has thickened, add chipped beef.

In a large bowl whisk together milk and flour salt and pepper.
Melt butter in large pot over medium heat. Add milk and flour mixture constantly whisking until it reaches a thick consistency.
Add beef and stir with a wooden spoon until heated through.

Warm milk into a 3 qt (or larger) pot over low heat.
Chop beef into 1/2 inch pieces and add to milk.
Add can of peas to milk.
Mix remaining milk and cornstarch (DO NOT ADD YET)
Warm them until milk starts boiling then add milk and cornstarch mix to thicken.
Toast Slices of bread and top with a slice of cheese and sauce!

Melt butter in pan, medium to low heat. Tear or cut up beef and add to butter. Simmer approximately 10 minutes. Whisk 3 tablespoons flour into 3/4 cup milk. Add milk and flour to beef and butter. Cook on low heat approximately 5 to 10 minutes. Slowly add milk while stirring mixture (add 1 cup milk) and stir until mixture gets thick, then add more milk and stir and continue to stir until sauce is creamy. Simmer for approximately 20 minutes. Toast the bread. Put toast or bread and spoon the creamed beef over it.
In large frying pan melt butter.
Add flour.
Stir in chipped beef and saute a little.
Add milk and bring to a boil.
Add water and bring to a second boil.
Cook until desired consistency. Serve over toast.
Melt butter in a hot frying pan.
Cut up beef into strips and fry for about 3 minutes.
Remove beef strips from pan and lay on a plate.
Add 3 tablespoons flour to butter in pan.
Stir until thick.
Add milk and stir well.
Simmer until mixture reaches desired consistency.
Add beef and heat.
Toast bread.
Lay bread on plate and spoon beef and gravy over bread.
Serve hot.
