Peel potatoes and cube.
Cut ham.
Add onions to ham and potatoes.
Cream flour and butter and add to milk when it is warm. Boil until creamy, then add to ham, potatoes and onion.
Mix well.

Bake for 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.

Pour mixture into shallow baking dish and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until heated through, bubbly and lightly brown.
Cook potatoes in your favorite method
Peel and slice potatoes and onions.

Arrange potatoes, onion and ham in layers, dotting each layer with margarine, salt and pepper.
Heat milk and mushroom soup, stirring to mix.
Pour mixture over layered ham and potatoes.
Put half of ham, potatoes and onion in a slow cooker.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then half of cheese.
Repeat layers.
Spread soup over top, completely covering potatoes.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
Soak the sliced raw potatoes in cold water for 1 hour and then drain and dry thoroughly with a towel.
Next melt the fat, add the flour and cook until bubbling; then add the milk gradually, stirring constantly, and cook until smooth and slightly thickened. Place in a greased casserole a layer of potatoes, using one third of them.
Over these slice one onion and sprinkle with pepper.
Lay on these the pieces of ham, then repeat with potatoes and onion. Salt and pour the white sauce over all and bake for one hour in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Enough potatoes to fill any size baking dish you want to use. Alternate layers of potatoes and ham.
Cover with medium white sauce.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 60 minutes.

Layer 1/2 of the ham, potatoes and onion in crock-pot. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Then put half of cheese over that. Repeat layers.
Spread undiluted soup evenly over top so air does not reach potatoes.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high 4 hours.
Alternate ingredients in cooker as follows:.
Half of the ham, potatoes, onions, salt and pepper and cheese.
Repeat with second layer.
Spread soup over top.
Sprinkle with paprika if desired.
Cook on low 8-9 hours OR on high 4-5 hours.

May also use oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
In a med bowl, mix milk and soup until smooth. Set aside.
Peel and slice potatoes into 1/4 inches slices.
Arrange half the potato slices in a layer in a greased, shallow baking dish.
Top potatoes with salt, pepper, half the soup mixture, half the ham, and then half the cheese.
Repeat for second layer.
Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
