Scalloped Ham And Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. thinly sliced, pared potatoes
    3 c. cooked ham strips (about 1 1/2 x 1/2-inch)
    1 c. thinly sliced, peeled onion
    3 c. well-seasoned thin white sauce
Preparation
    Combine the potatoes, ham and onion in alternate layers in a 2-quart covered casserole.
    Pour the white sauce over all.
    Cover and bake in a moderately hot oven of 400\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Remove the cover and bake about 30 minutes longer or until the potatoes are tender.
    Serves 6.
