Green Snap Beans

Clean and snap green beans.
Put bacon drippings in a large pot; add the snap beans and about 2 cups water.
Cook at medium temperature.
Add water as needed.
Just before they are done, add the salt and sugar.
Serve with fresh onions and cornbread. Yield:
6 servings.

Snap Beans

Place cubed salt meat in pot with water;
boil for about 1/2 an hour.
In another pot, add 2 or 3 cans snap beans or fresh beans.
Add salt meat, onion, and oil.
Add Tabasco Sauce.
Cook until done.

Lisa'S Snap Beans

Drain snap beans and place in a baking dish; mix brown sugar, margarine, soy sauce, and garlic powder; pour over beans. Place bacon on top and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until done.

Spicy Dilly Beans

Prepare jars for canning.
Bring vinegar, salt and water to a boil.
In the bottom each hot sterilized jar, put the garlic cloves, cayenne pepper, mustard seed, and dill.
Pack jars with fresh green beans, packed lengthwise.
Do not snap beans.
Process for 20 minutes at 1000' altitude, or adjust time according to your altitude.

Vegetable Soup

Cook the lima beans, peas and snap beans 1 hour.
Drain water and add to the other ingredients.
Cook for 1 hour.
This makes 7 quarts.

Snap Bean Casserole

Saute onions.
Add snap beans and cook for 15 minutes.
Pour into baking dish.
Melt cheese with cream of mushroom soup and Ro-Tel.
Pour over snap beans.
Add Italian bread crumbs on top of casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.

Fresh Snap Beans

Sort and wash beans; snip off ends and snap into desired lengths. Boil until tender. Take out what you want to cook and freeze the rest, water and all. Fill the bag with beans first (quart about 3/4 of the way), then separate the water you boiled and the beans to fill your bags for the freezer. Put some of the bean water and then fill with tap water to finish the bag.

Green Beans With Rosemary

Cook bacon in microwave; add margarine and rosemary; set aside.
Cook beans, potatoes and onion in water, in oven, covered. When cooked to suit taste, pour bacon, margarine and rosemary over beans.

Canned Snap Beans

Bring water, salt, sugar and vinegar to a boil.
Add beans. Let boil rapidly for 10 minutes.
Put in hot jars and seal.
You do not have to pressure cook.

Sauteed Snap Beans

Saute beans 1 minute in enough oil or bacon fat to cover bottom of wok or pan.
Add instant onion and water to mix and saute again. Add dash of garlic salt, cracked black pepper and chili sauce. Toss lightly.
Serve on platter.
Garnish with beets or other vegetable of your choice to add color.

Snap Beans

Fry bacon and
let
cool.
Cover
beans with hot water. Salt and pepper to taste.
Cook 20 minutes, then add potatoes. Cook until potatoes are\tdone.
Add
water if beans get to low on water.

Canned Snap Beans

In large pot, add all ingredients with enough water to completely cover beans.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 3-5 minutes. Have jars and lids hot.
Fill jars with beans and liquid up to top and seal.

Will'S Southern Style Beans

Use cured meat and cook until fully done.
Rinse in cold water. Add snap beans, onions and a little pepper (no salt).
Cook slowly until beans are done.
Add a little love and serve.

Baby Caesar Green & Yellow Beans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place frozen beans in a saucepan and cover with water.
Place on stove top and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Drain.
In a large bowl, combine cooked beans, salad dressing, and cheese.
Place mixture into a greased casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Top with croutons and serve.

Canned Snap Beans

Put sugar, vinegar and salt in a container and cover with water.
Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 4 minutes.
Put in jars and seal.
Then put in boiling water and boil 7 minutes. Remove and untighten tops a little.
To serve, you may cook and season with water in beans if you want a sour taste.
If not, drain, wash in hot water and season.

Sweet And Sour Beans

Fry bacon until crisp, remove from skillet, add following to drippings:
4 large onions (sliced thin), 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, 1 tablespoon dry mustard, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup vinegar.
Cook 20 minutes.
Drain dried butter beans, green lima beans, and dark red kidney beans.
Add pork and beans (do not drain).
Mix all beans together, add bacon and onion sauce.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0 or crockpot 6 - 7 hours on low.

Chuckwagon Beans

Cook and drain ground beef, bacon and onion.
Mix together. Then add brown sugar, white sugar, catsup, barbecue sauce, molasses and mustard.
Then add red kidney beans, roka and green lima beans.
Leave some liquid on beans.
Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in a 9 x 11-inch pan.

Good Baked Beans Casserole

Brown onions, bacon and hamburger together. Add mustard, vinegar, brown sugar and catsup. Stir in undrained pork and beans, butter beans, green lima beans and kidney beans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Seasoned Green String Beans

Pour string green beans into saucepan, juice and all.
Add one package Lipton onion soup mix.
Serve warm.

Sweet And Sour Baked Beans

Drain dried lima beans, green lima beans, kidney beans and pork and beans.
Mix beans, onions, bacon, sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt and garlic powder together.
Mix well.
Put in a casserole dish and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
