Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. ripe tomatoes, peeled and cut in slices
    6 onions, sliced
    16 ears corn (cut corn from cob)
    1 1/2 c. sliced okra
    1 c. (or more) lima beans
    1 c. (or more) peas
    1 c. (or more) green snap beans
    4 sweet peppers, chopped in small pieces
    1/2 c. salt (scant)
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar (White House apple cider vinegar)
Preparation
    Cook the lima beans, peas and snap beans 1 hour.
    Drain water and add to the other ingredients.
    Cook for 1 hour.
    This makes 7 quarts.
