basic recipe to making gravy for any type of oven
Bring ham drippings to a boil.
Mix flour and water to make a runny paste.
Pour flour/water mix in boiling ham drippings a little at a time making sure to be whisking the same time. Whisk until thickened.
Add salt and gravy master to taste and color.
Note: To make a good amount of drippings add 1/2 cup water to the pan the ham is being cooked inches Start with 1-2 drops gravy master then add more if needed as this is very dark in color. If the gravy has lumpy strain in a strainer to remove the lumps.
Cook first 3 ingredients until all redness is gone from beef. Drain off fat.
Add 2 cups water and beef cubes.
Bring to boil, then lower heat.
Make thickener by mixing together 1/4 cup water and cornstarch in a cup.
Mix until smooth.
Add this slowly to ground beef, stirring constantly until desired consistency.
Add Gravy Master (optional), salt and pepper.
Simmer on low heat about 3 minutes.

For optional gravy: Blend 1/4 cup water
Combine soy, onion and garlic in blender at high speed for 1 minute.
Stir in gravy master and seasoning.
Marinate your steak as usual but note that this is a strong marinade, so for a london broil, use only 1/2 cup and marinate for 6-8 hours.

Cover with the 4 cans of soup that have been diluted with 4 cans of water and enough Kitchen Bouquet to make brown.
Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350\u00b0.
Serve with mashed potatoes covered with the gravy mixture.

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F.
In a 9x13 glass baking dish, empty two cans of cream of mushroom soup. Add 1/2 cup of water and the Gravy Master. Stir.
Place on top of gravy mixture the pork chops. They can be overlapped.
Next, season meat with the Worcestershire sauce. Then season with the lemon pepper seasoning, seasoning salt, garlic powder, and parsley flakes. (Amounts can vary, depending on your liking.).
Lastly, arrange the green peppers and onion over the meat. Cover with foil and bake for and hour or until done.
Place brisket in roasting pan with 4 cups of water, wine and Gravy Master.
Top meat with onion soup and sliced onion.
Cover and cook in slow 325\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
Remove from oven and add cup of wild rice.
Return to oven for about 1 hour more until meat is tender and most of gravy is absorbed but still juicy. Slice meat across the grain.
Mound rice around meat on platter and garnish with broiled tomatoes (optional).
Delicious company fare.

Cook about 45 minutes.
If gravy is thin, add flour or cornstarch.
If pale, add Gravy Master.
Can be made ahead and freezes well.
(Can be cooked in crock-pot.)
Place meat in roasting pan with 4 cups of water, wine, and Gravy Master.
Top meat with onion, soup and sliced onion.
Cover and bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 2 hours.
Remove and add wild rice. Return to oven and cook 1 hour longer or until most of gravy is absorbed.
Mound rice around meat.
Brown hamburg; drain off fat.
Add beaten eggs and stir well. Add garlic powder and sugar.
Mix together soy sauce, Gravy Master and cornstarch with small amount cold water to a paste.
Add to hamburg and mix well.
Simmer 10 minutes, uncovered.
Boil beans 1/2 hour (save water).
Place pork and onions in crock-pot.
Add Gravy Master, spices and sugar, then beans. Add water, enough to cover.
Cook on high.
Start around 10:00 a.m. to be ready for dinner. These beans are wonderful served with Johnny Cake.
Fry together onions, scallions, garlic and pepper.
Place these fried vegetables with water, flour and Gravy Master in saucepan.
Fill halfway with water.
