Beef Oven Ragout - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. red wine
    1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
    1 pkg. dry onion soup
    2 lb. beef cubes (all fat removed)
    carrots, cut up in chunks
    whole small onions
    flour or cornstarch
    Gravy Master
Preparation
    In a large casserole with a tight cover, combine wine, mushroom soup and onion soup mix.
    Mix well.
    Add meat.
    Bake, covered, at 325\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
    Add carrots and onions.
    Cook about 45 minutes.
    If gravy is thin, add flour or cornstarch.
    If pale, add Gravy Master.
    Can be made ahead and freezes well.
    (Can be cooked in crock-pot.)
