Ground Beef Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/4 green pepper, chopped
    2 c. water
    2 beef cubes
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of Gravy Master
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook first 3 ingredients until all redness is gone from beef. Drain off fat.
    Add 2 cups water and beef cubes.
    Bring to boil, then lower heat.
    Make thickener by mixing together 1/4 cup water and cornstarch in a cup.
    Mix until smooth.
    Add this slowly to ground beef, stirring constantly until desired consistency.
    Add Gravy Master (optional), salt and pepper.
    Simmer on low heat about 3 minutes.
