Add oil to medium skillet. Over medium heat saute apples, onions and caraway seeds until onion turn opaque. About 10-12 minutes.
Dice sausage into 1/2 inch pieces and add to skillet. Stir well. Heat for 8 -10 minutes or until sausage is warm.
Drain sauerkraut well. Add sauerkraut and stir well. Cover and turn down heat to low.
Cook on low for 10 minutes. Stir to prevent burning. Serve hot with a little shot of mustard on the side. Enjoy.

Heat the butter in a large oven proof lidded casserole dish, add the onions and saute until soft and transparent.
Add the sauerkraut, mix well and cook, uncovered, over a low heat for 5 minutes.
Add the apples to the sauerkraut mixture together with the wine and enough stock to cover; mix well then continue to cook over a low heat for 30 minutes; preheat the oven to 170C, 325F, gas mark 3 during this cooking time.
Stir in the sugar and celery seeds then cover and transfer to the oven; bake for 30 minutes and serve hot.
Place pork loin and all ingredients in crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
Remove pork from crockpot and rest for about 20 minutes Slice and serve with the sauerkraut and apples.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown pork chops in hot skillet, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Drain.
Arrange apples and onion in the bottom of a slow cooker; top with browned pork chops. Pour in enough water to cover bottom of the slow cooker crock.
Cook on High for 3 hours (or on Low for 6 hours). Add sauerkraut and fennel seed to pork chop mixture. Cook for 1 more hour.
Place the apples, sauerkraut with juice, and smoked sausages into a slow cooker.
In a bowl, stir together the cola, apple juice, and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves. Pour the cola mixture into the slow cooker. Stir to combine, cook on High for 2 hours, then on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
Heat oven to 450\u00b0F degrees.
Cut ribs into serving pieces.
Place in 13x9-inch pan; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
Reduce oven to 350\u00b0F degrees.
Remove ribs; drain fat from pan.
In same pan, combine sauerkraut, sugar, apples, onion, and water.
Spread it all out evenly.
Put ribs on top; bake uncovered for 1 1/2 hrs, stirring occasionally.
In a large heavy saucepan combine the sauerkraut, the apples, the wine, the broth, the brown sugar, and the caraway seeds and simmer the mixture, covered, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour.
The sauerkraut may be made 1 day in advance, kept covered and chilled, and reheated.
Drain sauerkraut and set aside.

Meanwhile, quarter and core the apple.
Cut into thin slices.
Add to onion.
Saute 1 or 2 minutes.
Add drained sauerkraut and brown sugar, gently mixing with a wooden spoon. Cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes over low heat.
Spoon into a serving bowl.
Serve hot!
Makes 4 servings.

Put chopped onions and apples on top of meat. Add sauerkraut with juice on top. Pour apple cider vinegar over everything. Bake at 350 for 40 mins or meat is cooked. Serve with mashed potatoes.
Drain the sauerkraut.

You may want to use a little more or less of brown sugar.

Reduce heat; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Stir baking mix and milk with fork to a soft dough.
Drop dough by spoonfuls (2 or 3) onto sauerkraut.
Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes; cover and cook 10 minutes.
Remove dumplings, sausages and sauerkraut with slotted spoon to serving platter. Garnish with parsley.
