Sauerkraut With Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut
    1/2 onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 red or green cooking apple
    1 tsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. caraway seed
Preparation
    Drain the sauerkraut.
    Saute onion slices in butter in saucepan.
    Quarter and core apple; cut into thin slices.
    Add to the onion.
    Saute 1 to 2 minutes.
    Add drained sauerkraut and brown sugar; mix gently.
    Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes. Serve hot.
