Peel potatoes and carrots and cut in chunks.
Place in crock-pot.
Season meat well with seasoned salt, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Place roast on top of potatoes and carrots. Pour 1 can consomme soup over top and cook on low all night until Sunday dinner.
Remove roast, potatoes and carrots.
Pour liquid in skillet and bring to boil.
Thicken with 2 tablespoons cornstarch, dissolved in small amount of water.
Serve gravy with roast and vegetables.
Place meat in 4 quart baking pan and sprinkle with steak seasoning.
Combine beef broth with basil, oregano and thyme and add to pan.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Uncover meat and scatter potatoes, carrots and onion around roast.
Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours more or until meat is tender.
Remove meat from pan and slice.
Arrange on serving dish and surround with vegetables.
If desired, thicken pan juices with flour.

While roast is browning, mix your dry soup mix with the cream of mushroom soup and water.
Pour soup over roast

3 hours or until tender.
Soup mix makes the gravy.
(When I do this for Sunday dinner, I cook it on 250\u00b0 during Sunday School and church;
so tender you can cut it with a fork!)
Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and add sugar. Separately beat eggs and 1 cup warm water. Then add oil and salt. Add this to the yeast mixture and gradually add the flour. This will be sticky. That's okay. Let stand overnight with waxed paper or paper towel covering it. Use a large bowl as it will grow. Before Sunday School, pat out the dough and cut with a biscuit cutter. Place cutouts on a greased cookie sheet and let stand until after church. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until brown.
Take these rolls out of freezer before Sunday school. They are ready to bake when you get home from church.
For the Ground Beef in Adobo
Line baking dish with chicken pieces.
Cover with BBQ sauce, add salt and pepper to taste.
Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Remove cover and finish cooking uncovered for 15 more minutes.
Mix first 3 ingredients together and pour over roast.
Cook in crock-pot for 24 hours on low heat.
Great way to prepare for Sunday dinner in advance.

Place potatoes in a Dutch oven; cover with water. Cover and bring to a boil. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until very tender; drain well. In a large mixing bowl, mash potatoes. Add sour cream, cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, salt, onion salt and pepper; beat until fluffy. Transfer to a greased 2-quart baking dish. Dot with the remaining butter. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until heated through. Yield: 8 servings.
Place roast on heavy-duty foil.
Spread roast with undiluted mushroom soup.
Sprinkle over it the dry onion soup mix.
Wrap, sealing well.
Use a shallow roasting pan.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 2 hours.
Makes delicious gravy for potatoes or rice.
Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix buttermilk and eggs together. Wash chicken and drain. Sprinkle with flour. Dip chicken in buttermilk mix. Fork chicken 1 piece at a time and drop in flour mixture. Take out and drop in hot oil just until chicken is brown. Take out and put single layer on cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. It's good enough for the preacher!
Dissolve the yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
Mix with the sugar, oil, 1 cup warm water and eggs.
Add the salt and flour. Stir well. Cover and let stand 6 to 8 hours.
Divide dough into 3 parts. Roll out as for pie crust.

Cut each pie into 8 wedges.
Roll up and let rise on greased baking sheet 4 to 6 hours.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 12 minutes.
Makes 24 rolls.
