Dip bread slices in milk mixture and lay on cookie sheet lined with foil.
If you have any milk mixture left over, just pour it on top of the bread slices.
Broil under your broiler, about 3 inches from heat source, about 2 -4 minutes each side, until browned to your liking.
Sprinkle with chopped macadamia nuts, and serve with coconut syrup and/or maple syrup.
This is a very easy French toast preparation and it isn't as heavy as the usual recipes which saute the bread in butter.

Prepare both packages of instant pudding as package directs. Set aside.
Line 9 x 13-inch pan with whole graham crackers.
Mix dessert topping with pudding.
Pour half the pudding-topping mixture over crackers.
Prepare french fries according to package directions (bake or fry, your choice!).
Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
Pour cooked french fries in a large bowl and pour garlic mixture over. Toss well; add additional salt if desired, and serve!
This is another really old menu.
My aunt, who later became head chef at the Memorial Union at the University of Wisconsin, gave me the salad and dessert recipes way back in the forties.
Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with chocolate grahams.
Prepare pudding mix with 3 cups of milk.
Blend whipped topping mix into pudding. Pour pudding mixture on top of grahams.
Add another layer of chocolate grahams (you won't use the whole box).
Microwave frosting until it's easy to pour.
Pour frosting over grahams. Refrigerate for 6 hours.
Sift flour, sugar and baking powder into a bowl.
Make a well in the center of mixture and add the eggs, milk and vanilla extract.
Mix in well to form a smooth batter.
Add 4 TBS of the melted butter.
Let batter stand for 30 minutes while preparing the fruit.
Pre-heat the oven to 450\u00b0F.
Butter an 8 inch round cake tin.
Stir the fruit into the batter and pour into the tin.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F.
Stir together first 5 ingredients until blended.
Stir in macaroni.
Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 11x7 baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0F.
for 25 minutes.
Top with French fried onions and bake 5 more minutes.
Melt butter with olive oil in an 8 quart sauce pan on medium heat. Add onions and stir until tender and translucent.
Add beef broth and thyme. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Heat the oven broiler.
Pour soup into oven safe bowls and place one slice of bread on top of each (I like to break slice into pieces). Layer bread with 1/2 slice of Swiss, 1 slice of provolone, and 1 tbsp of Parmesan cheese. Place bowls on cookie sheet and broil in oven until cheese browns slightly.
Line 9 x 13-inch dish with crackers.
Layer pudding 3 times, 2 times with crackers.
Top with frosting.
