chops on each side. Transfer to plate.
Place rice over bottom
of skillet. Arrange chops on top. Stack slices of onion, tomato and green peppers on top of each chop.
Sprinkle with salt and
pepper.
Pour
tomato juice over chops. Cover; simmer 45 minutes or until chops are tender.
Serves 6.

Place a layer of parboiled zucchini, fresh tomato and onion.
Sprinkle salt, pepper, sugar and sharp cheese.
Continue layering and sprinkling until you have 3 layers. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.

Saute onion and garlic until golden in butter and oil about 5 minutes; add salt, basil, pepper and tomato sauce. Bring to boiling and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
