Fruit Cobbler Dough(This Is An Easy And Quick Dough For Fruit Cobblers)

Melt oleo, then add all other ingredients. Pour 1/2 of the dough into a baking pan.
Add fruit and cover with rest of dough. Takes a big can of fruit or more.
Sweeten to taste; can use dewberries.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until top turns brown.
Can be served with whipped topping.

Easy Top Crust For Fruit Pie

Make pie filling using any fruit or berries, following recipe for regular pie.
Put into deep-dish bottom crust.

Fresh Fruit Marinade

Cut fresh fruit into bite sized pieces (I use melon, peaches, apples, plums, grapes, etc).
Mix the orange juice and Splenda together until the Splenda is well dissolved.
Pour the orange juice mixture over the fruit, cover and chill for several hours.
This is great for fruit that isn't quite as sweet as you like it, and is very refreshing for an addition to any meal.

Basic Recipe For Fruit Cake(Nice, Moist Cake)

Beat shortening, sugar and egg together.
Stir in applesauce (just a little).
Add flour, salt, spices, soda and raisins.
Add as much candied fruit, dates and nuts as you wish for fruit cake. For the cake with all the fruit, line your loaf pans with wax paper and grease well.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
In a 9 x 12-inch greased and floured pan.

Fruit 'N' Pudding Crisp

Combine fruit, reserved 1 tablespoon dry pudding mix, 1/4 cup brown sugar and reserved 1/4 cup fruit syrup in ungreased 1 1/2-quart round casserole or 8-inch square baking pan.
Set aside. Combine flour, oats, nuts, sugar, salt, cinnamon, pudding mix and butter in a large mixing bowl until well blended and crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes until deep golden brown and bubbly.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Cool Calypso Dip Fruit Platter

In a small bowl, combine marshmallow creme and sour cream and whisk until smooth.
Zest lime with a lemon zester.
Juice lime to yield 1 tablespoons juice.
Whisk lime zest, lime juice and cinnamon into marhsmallow creme mixture.
To be creative: Cut melon in half and remove seeds.
To use one half the melon for the container for your dip, scoop out melon to about 1/2\" from rind.
Fill with dip.
Cut up remaining half for fruit platter.
Serve with assorted fruit.

Fresh Peach Cobbler With Almond Crunch Topping

For Cobbler: In food processor, combine

Mix vanilla pudding with the milk.
Add sour cream.
Mix well, then chill.
Serve with assorted fruit for dipping.
Especially good with strawberries, pineapple chunks, apple slices and banana slices but other fruits are good also.

Fruit Kabobs With Hawaiian Dip

Set aside 1/4 cup coconut. Mix the remaining ingredients except for fruit. Place in a serving dish and sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup coconut. Arrange fruit on skewers and serve with dip.

Dressing For Fruit Salad

Beat eggs in boiler.
Add sugar, salt, margarine, fruit juice and flour.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly; when ready to serve, whip the cream and stir into mixture.
Use over mixed fruit.
This makes a quart and will keep a week in the refrigerator.
Can also be used as a dip for fruit.

Fruit Cake

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and 2 cups of flour in pan.
Set aside.
Then mix all fruit together; put in other 2 cups of flour and all the spices.
Mix well together.
Then mix all together in one big pan.
You can use tube pans or loaf pans.
It will take 2 tube pans or 4 loaf pans.
Cook at 350\u00b0 for 90 minutes to 2 hours.

Fruit Cobbler

In a 13 x 9-inch pan, melt stick of butter, then mix in bowl flour, 2 cups sugar, baking powder and milk.
Pour over butter in pan, but don't mix together.
Then in saucepan, put fruit and 1 cup sugar, if needed.
Heat until hot.
Then pour over batter mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.

Season'S Creeping Crust Fruit Cobbler

Melt butter in 8x8 inch baking pan.
Mix flour, sugar and baking powder; add milk and mix; spoon over melted butter.
Prepare fruit and heat on stove with sugar, until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour fruit over dough. Bake 30 min at 350* or until crust is golden brown.
*May substitute 1 can pie filling for fruit and sugar and skip the heating portion.

Cream Sauce For Fruit

Mix well and chill several hours.
Pour over fruit or use as a dip for fruit.

Betty'S White Fruit Cake

Cream butters and sugar well.
Add eggs one at a time alternately with flour.
Dredge fruit in about 1 cup of the flour and add to creamed mixture.
Cook in 3 loaf pans (9 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 2 3/4-inch), greased and lined with brown paper and greased inside before mix is added to pan.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes (sometimes takes 2 hours).
Cook in tin pans set in pan of water while baking to add moisture.

Fruit Coffee Cake

Beat all ingredients together, except for fruit, for 3 minutes.
Pour into a greased pan, then arrange fruit on top.

Fruit Cake Cookies(May Prepare Ahead.)

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Add milk, flour, soda, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and whiskey.
Mix well.
Flour fruit with 1/2 cup reserved flour. Pour batter over fruit and mix.
Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
