Stir as you are adding corn meal with a wire whip.
Cook for 10 to 15 minutes (add more water for thinner mush).
Serve with milk and sugar or honey.
Pour leftover mush in pan and let set overnight.
Slice and fry mush.
Serve with butter and syrup.

Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Brush chicken with olive oil and toss in bowl with Cajun spice mix. Make sure each portion is covered thoroughly. Adjust amount of seasoning according to taste. Place chicken on parchment paper-lined baking pan.

Combine chocolate and butterscotch chips and melt.

Add milk to the drained liquid to measure 1 cup.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Combine beaten egg, milk mixture and corn.
Add to dry ingredients.
Mix just until flour is moistened.
Drop batter by tablespoon into deep, hot fat (375\u00b0).
Fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Serve with warm maple syrup.
Makes about 18 fritters (feeds 3 to 4).
Double recipe for more.
Steam corn if using.
Drain well.
Dice vegetables and add to the corn.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Chill for 30 minutes before serving.
Peel, boil and mash the potatoes.
Brown the hamburger (loose).
In a 2-quart casserole dish, put in potatoes (bottom layer), put in loose hamburger (middle layer) and add creamed corn (top layer).
Place in oven preheated to 350\u00b0.
Heat until creamed corn starts to bubble (15 to 20 minutes).
While heating, wash potato pan and frying pan.
Eat and enjoy!
Pour corn in bowl and stir; then add finely diced onions, bell pepper and celery.
