Pet Milk Salad

Add sugar
to pineapple and bring to a boil.
Add jello and let
cool.\tWhip
chilled Pet milk and fold into pineapple mixture.
Store in refrigerator.

Pet Milk Fudge

Put sugar, margarine and Pet milk in pan and let come to a boil.
Boil 8 minutes, stirring most of the time.
Take off stove and add chocolate chips, stirring until dissolved.
Add Marshmallow Fluff.
Stir this until all is dissolved.
Add nut meats and vanilla.

Pet Milk Cookies

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Put in bowl soft shortening and vanilla, gradually adding sugar.
Stir in 1/3 flour mixture; then add 1/2 of 1/3 cup Pet milk.
Repeat to get all of flour mixed in.
Roll 1/8 inch thick on floured board.
Use floured cookie cutter.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Ice and decorate.

Pet Milk Salad

Chill Pet milk the night before.
Soften cream cheese and whip together.
Heat pineapple and add pineapple and Jell-O.
Add to cheese mixture.
Add nuts and chill.

Butterscotch Cream(Heritage Recipe)

Mix brown sugar, cornstarch, salt and egg yolks thoroughly in a saucepan. Stir i until smooth a mixture of Pet milk and water. Add butter or margarine. Cook and stir over low heat until thickened, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Cover and cool thoroughly.
Put into a cool 9 inch baked pastry shell.
Spread with meringue. Bake as directed for meringue.
Cool thoroughly before cutting with a wet knife.

Pet Milk Nut Fudge

In heavy 2-quart saucepan, mix sugar, butter, marshmallow, salt and Pet milk.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and is bubbly all over top.
Boil and stir over medium heat 5 minutes more.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla and chocolate chips until melted.
Stir in broken nuts.
Spread in buttered 8 or 9-inch square pan.
Press nut halves on top if desired.
Cool thoroughly.
Cut into about 30 pieces.

Pet Milk Pecan Pie

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix in a 1 1/2 quart bowl, sugar, flour and salt.
Stir in syrup.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Mix in milk, pecans and vanilla.
Pour into crust.
Bake 50 minutes or until firm.
Cool before serving.

Pet Pecan Pie

Mix in bowl, flour, white sugar and salt.
Beat 2 eggs with fork, then add eggs, brown sugar, Pet milk, pecans and vanilla. Bake at 375\u00b0 about 50 minutes.

Pet Milk, Pineapple Salad

Boil pineapple and sugar for 5 minutes.
Stir in jello while still hot; set aside until jelled.
Soften cream cheese with small amount of milk.
Whip combination together.
Add nuts and chill in mold.

Miss Nettie G. Brinkley'S Whipped Pet Milk Lemon Pie

Dissolve
the jello with the boiling water.
Add sugar, cream cheese
and
lemon.
Cool.\tChill the canned milk, have bowl and beaters
cold.
Then
whip until stiff.
Fold in the jello mixture and pour into a baked crust or a graham cracker crust.
Makes 3 pies.

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water and add sugar and lemon juice.
Chill until thick (like pudding).
Whip and add to whipped chilled Pet milk.
Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
Press in bottom of 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans.
Pour Jell-O mixture over crumbs and chill.
This recipe may be cut in half.

Cheese Cake

Prepare Graham Cracker Crust in 13 x 9-inch pan. (Double Graham Cracker Crust recipe.) Place Pet milk in freezer for 3 hours. Prepare lemon jello with hot water; set aside.
Beat cream cheese with sugar and lemon juice. Beat milk until fairly thick. Add cheese mixture to jello, then fold in the Pet milk. Pour over Graham Cracker Crust. Chill.

Dianne'S Coconut Cake

Mix cake mix as directed on box.
Mix coconut, Pet milk and sugar; if needed, add 1 to 2 cups additional milk.
Cook on medium to low heat until not watery.
Add sugar to taste.
Stir occasionally while cooking to prevent sticking.
Pour just enough batter in round cake pan to cover pan, then bake until brown at 350\u00b0.
Recipe will make 6 to 8 layers.
Watch closely because it will cook within 5 to 8 minutes.
Punch holes in layers to allow juice to soak in.
Top with cooked coconut while still hot.

"Wet" Chocolate Cake

Make chocolate cake according to recipe in sheet pan.
While still warm, make icing.
Combine cocoa, sugar, butter or oleo, corn syrup and Pet milk; mix in saucepan.
Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
Boil slowly, stirring now and then until small amount dropped in water forms a soft ball.
Add vanilla and salt.
Poke holes in sheet cake and frost with this icing while hot.
Icing is thin.

Caramel Squares

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 16 x 10-inch pan. Combine caramels and 1/3 cup Pet milk in a heavy saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until all caramels are melted (keep warm).

S.O.S. Hamburger

Braise hamburger in roaster in oven.
Use enough water to leave broth to make gravy.
Cook until meat is done.
Stir and blend in 1 recipe roux.
Stir and blend in Pet milk, salt and pepper to taste.

Lemon Fluff

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water and add sugar and lemon juice.
Chill until thick (like pudding).
Whip and add to whipped chilled Pet milk.
Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
Press in bottom of 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans.
Pour Jell-O mixture over crumbs and chill.
This recipe may be cut in half.

Ice Cream

Cook sugar, flour, eggs and milk which have been mixed until they boil.
Strain through colander into freezer can.
Add vanilla to taste, salt and Pet milk.
Fill can up with milk. Place in refrigerator until cool and freeze.
You can use fruit or chocolate to basic recipe.
You can use 2% milk to make.

Aunt Mamie'S Strawberry Shortcake

Bake cake according to directions.
Let cool.
Thaw strawberries.
Combine sugar, butter and vanilla in mixing bowl. Add Pet milk until it is spreading consistency.
Frost cake; top with strawberries.
