Combine dressing, garlic, onion and a dash of salt and pepper in a shallow glass dish. Add steak, turn to coat with marinade. Refrigerate for several hours, turning steak occasionally. Just before serving preheat broiler or grill. Drain steak, broil or grill.

Cuban-Style Marinated Steak

Mix all ingredients, except steak, in large resealable plastic bag or glass dish.
Add steak; turn to coat well.
Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer for extra flavor.
Remove steak from marinade, reserving remaining marinade.
Grill over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness, brushing with reserved marinade halfway through cooking.

Marinated Steak

Combine all ingredients, except the steak, in a ziptop bag. Shake to combine well and then add the steak. Marinade the steak overnight if possible, or at least 6-8 hours, for best flavor.
Preheat grill for high heat.
Put steak on hot grill to get great grill marks and seal in juices. Flip and grill other side and cooked to desired doneness.
Hint - I baste mine with leftover marinade while grilling for more intense flavor. If you want to do this then save 1/4 cup of marinade prior to putting steak in ziptop bag for marinating.

Honey-Lime Marinated Steak

Combine lime juice and next 5 ingredients and pour over steak. Refrigerate for 24 hours, turning steak occasionally.
Remove steak from marinade, reserving marinade.
Coat grill with cooking spray.
Grill steak 5 to 6-inches over coals for 6 to 7 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
Cut diagonally into thin slices and serve.

Marinated Steak

Mix together the wine, soy sauce and seasonings.
Place the steak in a long glass baking dish and pour the marinade over the meat.
Cover and chill at least 12 to 18 hours, turning the meat over once or twice.
Preheat the broiler.
Remove the steak from the marinade.
Pat dry and broil 4-inches from the heat for about 5 minutes on each side.
To serve, cut thin slices diagonally across the grain.
Serve with rice.

Marinated Steak Italiano

In large, shallow non-aluminum baking dish or plastic bag, pour 1/2 cup Italian dressing over steak.
Cover, or close bag, and marinate in refrigerator, turning occasionally, 3 to 24 hours. Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade.
Grill or broil steak, turning once and brushing frequently with remaining dressing, until steak is done.
Makes about 8 servings.

Marinated Steak(Lo-Fat)

Place steak in baking dish and cover with marinade made from rest of the ingredients.
Turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours, turning occasionally.
Preheat broiler. Remove steak and pat dry. Sprinkle freshly ground pepper on steak.
Broil 4 to 6-inches from broiler 4 to 7 minutes on a side.
Slice thinly across the grain.

Maple Marinated Steak

Place steak in a shallow dish. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over steak. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours to overnight.
Remove steak from marinade and grill to desired doneness.
Heat marinade in saucepan over medium heat to boiling.
Cut steaks into very thin slices, cutting across the grain. Place in a large dish covered with the heated marinade.
