This is not my recipe, picked it up off of a running site . My Mil needed a sugar free granola to make bars. Original recipe had ~2 c of dried fruits/raisins, etc, added after cooking ,as well as nuts This works well for mil to make granola bars as sugar free as she can!

Cream butter and sugar; beat in egg and vanilla.
Add flour and salt.
Refrigerate dough for 3 to 4 hours.
Roll and cut into cross shapes.
Bake on greased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Sprinkle with sherry while still warm. Makes 40 to 50 (2-inch) cookies.

Combine flour, soda, salt and spices.
Set aside.
In large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add egg whites and vanilla.
Beat well.
Stir in flour mixture, mixing until well combined.
Add cereal.
Drop by level measuring tablespoon onto baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 9 to 12 minutes until edges start to turn brown.
Cool on wire racks.

Pear And Granola Muffin (P90X)

Preheat oven to 350.
Whisk together the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl to blend.
Stir both flours and sugar in medium bowl until no sugar lumps remain.
Mix in granola, baking powder, nutmeg and salt.
Add pear; toss to coat.
Stir flour mixture into egg mixture until blended
Divide among 10 muffin cups.
Bake until golden brown and tester inserted into center comes out clean (about 20 minutes).

Peel sweet potatoes and place in large saucepan covered in water.
Cook until fork tender; about 20-30 minutes.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine first 7 ingredients.
Beat with an eclectic mixer until well blended.
Spoon mixture into an 8 inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray.
In a small mixing bowl, combine granola, pecans and 1/4 cup brown sugar; stir well.
Sprinkle over casserole and drizzle with butter.

Butter or spray 8x8-inch baking pan.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F.
Combine granola, oatmeal, cranberries, raisins, flour, almonds, and cinnamon in large mixing bowl.
In smaller bowl, lightly beat egg whites. Stir in honey, brown sugar, and oil.
Stir in honey mixture into dry ingredients until all coated.
Press evenly into pan.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool fully then cut into bars.

No-Bake Granola Breakfast Bars

Heat peanut butter and honey in a saucepan over low heat until creamy. Remove from heat and pour into a bowl to cool. Add granola, cereal, raisins and crushed graham crackers to the peanut butter mixture and stir well. Roll into tablespoon-sized balls and set on wax paper. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Try using your favorite ingredients. Makes approximately 32 cookies.

Tropical Fruit Salad(No Fat, Low Sugar)

Drain fruit salad.
Combine cottage cheese and yogurt.
Layer in glasses or bowl:
cottage cheese mixture, fruit salad and granola.

Low Calorie Granola

Mix all the dry ingredients together.
Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and add all the wet ingredients into the well.
Toss it all like a big salad until it's well mixed, but not overly so.
Spread evenly on 2 cookie sheets and place in a preheated 350\u00b0F oven.
Most important step, make sure you stir or mix the granola every ten minutes so that you don't end up with any burned pieces. It's kind of a pain but you'll regret it if you don't!
Bake for 40 minutes.

Chocolate-Granola Apple Wedges

Place chocolate in a medium microwave-safe bowl, and microwave for 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds, or until chocolate melts.
Place granola in a shallow dish.
Dip apple wedges skin side up, in chocolate to drip back in bowl.
Dredge wedges in granola.
Place wedges chocolate side up on a large plate, and refridgerate for 5 minutes, or until set.
