Tibetan Corn Soup (Ashom Tang)

Saute the onion in butter in a soup pot until brown and soft.
Add the paprika, garlic and ginger and cook briefly.
Add the tomato and tofu, cut into small cubes; and the water.
Add the canned and frozen corn.
Bring soup to a boil, and simmer for a few minutes, stirring to prevent sticking.
Sprinkle chopped green onion on each serving.
This might be served with a side dish of rice.

Moroccan Couscous Salad With Baby Corn

Boil couscous in six cups of water; cover, remove from heat, and let stand for 20 to 30 minutes; chill uncovered.
For vinaigrette, place all items, except oil and baby corn, in food processor and drizzle in oil while blending.
Or, finely chop ingredients by hand and blend with a wire whisk.
Mix couscous, baby corn, vinaigrette, and all other ingredients; chill overnight.
Can be served as a side dish or as a meal.
Serve with fresh pita bread and lettuce.

Add egg yolks, salt and pepper.

Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into corn mixture.
Pour into 2-quart baking dish.
Place dish in a pan of simmering water and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until golden brown.

American Indian Corn Pudding

Grease baking dish with butter.
Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Separate eggs.
Beat egg whites until stiff, not dry.
Melt butter.
Stir in flour quickly over medium heat; heat until smooth paste forms.
Stir paste constantly while adding milk and allow the mixture to boil.
Lower heat; add egg yolks, salt and pepper and corn.
Mix; turn off heat.
Fold in egg whites with rubber spatula.
Pour in dish.
Bake 35 minutes or until lightly brown.

In a skillet, brown and cook ground beef on low heat for 10 minutes, and drain.
Transfer to slow cooker, and add onion, corn, salsa, and cheese.
Cover and cook on low for 1 hour. Remove lid and stir.

Add meat and brown well.

Add meat and allow to brown.
Add corn, soup, sugar, salt and black pepper, simmer for 15 minutes.

Mix egg, flour and sugar.
Add cheese and corn.
Cook bacon; drain and crumble.
Stir 2 slices of bacon into mixture.
Turn mixture into a baking dish.
Sprinkle with remaining bacon.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Serves 3 to 4.

Indian Corn Pudding

Clean the corn and grill. Test the kernels making sure they are cooked.
Then let it cool and remove the kernels from the cob.
Take 1/2 the corn kernels and place them in the heavy cream with the chopped thyme, honey and garlic. Puree with a hand blender.
Add eggs and remaining corn kernels and season with the salt and pepper.
Place in a baking dish and bake at 325'F in a water bath until the cener is firm. About 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool slightly before serving.

Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, stirring once after the dish has baked for 30 minutes.

Chili-Lime Rubbed Indian Corn On The Cob

Cook the corn in your favorite way but if a grill is available I absolutely recommend grilling it for the best results (although it is still delicious boiled, baked or steamed) and slather with butter (optional).
In a small dish, mix together the chili powder and salt.
Grab a lime wedge, dip in the chili mixture and rub over the corn, making sure to squeeze lime juice as doing so. Dig in while hot and don't worry about getting messy - just make sure to enjoy!

Combine eggs, flour and sugar; beat well.
Add cheese and corn.
Stir in 3/4 of the bacon.
Pour mixture into ungreased 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle remaining bacon over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Yields 8 servings.
