Rub roast in oil.

Add 1/2 package of dry soup mix and place roast on top.

Add potatoes and carrots and turn on low.
Cook until potatoes and carrots are tender.

Sear roast on all sides.
Add onions and cook till transparent and a bit browned.
Put both in crock pot.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cook on low till tender -OR- high for approx 6-8 hours (depending on size of roast).

Mix sliced onion, undiluted condensed canned soup, seasoning and water and pour over roast. Cover and cook 8 to 10 hours on low setting.

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium high heat and brown roast on all sides.
In the bottom of your crock pot, place the sliced onions first, then the browned roast.
Mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over roast, cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or until meat is fork tender and falls apart easily.
Pour the cooking juices into a sauce pan and simmer on the stove until reduced, about 10 minutes. Serve sauce over the top of the roast.
Place vegetables into the bottom of the crock-pot.
Season the beef generously with salt and pepper, then place in pot.
Add the liquid, bay leaf, and dried marjoram.
Cover and cook on LOW heat 10 to 12 hours (or HIGH heat 5 to 6 hours).
Remove meat and vegetables with slotted spoon and thicken drippings for gravy if desired.

Spoon 1/2 the mixture into the bottom of a crock pot.
Add the roast and top with the remaining mixture.
Cover and cook 8-10 hours on Low.
Mix together salt, pepper, paprika and garlic and rub into roast.
Cover and chill to marinate (overnight, if possible).
Brown well on both sides in oil, then place in crock pot and add beef broth and onions.
Cook 6 to 8 hours on low or until tender.
Add chili sauce the last hour of cooking.
Put all the ingredients, except the roast, in your slow-cooker.
Mix well.
Add the roast and stir well to coat it.
Cook on low for 10 hours or high for 5 hours.

Cook on high for 2 hours.
Turn to low and cook 2 to 3 hours more.
Layer 1/2 of the sauerkraut, 1/2 of the onion slices, sprinkle 1/2 of the caraway seeds and 1/2 of the apples on the bottom of the crock pot.
Brown (optional) the roast on top of the stove and place on top.
Layer the remaining ingredients (including the juice from sauerkraut).
Wash and pierce potatoes once and arrange around the roast.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
