Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut into 2 1/4 x 1 1/2-inch bars.
This recipe makes 2 dozen bars.

Blonde Brownies

Mix all ingredients together.
Spread in an 8-inch square pan. Top with your choice of 1/2 cup of nuts and/or 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
This recipe can easily be doubled.

Mom-Mom'S Blonde Brownies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9\" X 12\" baking pan.
Melt butter with brown sugar in saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Let cool slightly. Pour into mixer bowl.
Add eggs, vanilla and water. Mix well.
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Beat into butter mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Optional: Add walnuts and one blonde wig.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.

Blonde Brownies

In a saucepan, melt butter and add 1 pound brown sugar.
Cool. Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix flour with baking powder and salt. Add to mixture.
Add chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

Cut into 36 brownies.

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F.
Combine chips and margarine; melt over low stir until well blended.

Beat in sugar, vanilla, and chip mixture.
Add flour and pecans if using; mix well.

Bake for 45 minutes or until brownies are pulled away from edges of pan and set in center.
Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Cream together margarine and both sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat until fluffy.
Blend in dry ingredients.
Stir in Bits 'O Brickle.
Spread evenly in well greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
When cool, if desired, frost with white or chocolate frosting.

Over low heat, slowly melt the shortening or margarine, taking care not to scorch.
Remove from heat and blend in brown sugar.
Cool.
Stir in egg.
Sift together and stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir in vanilla or nuts. Spread in a well-greased and floured OR wax paper lined 8 x 8 x 2-inch (square) pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes until a light touch with finger leaves a slight imprint.
Brownies should look a light golden color.
Do NOT overcook.
Cut into bars while warm.
