Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. butter or margarine (if you use margarine, add 1 Tbsp. water, hot)
1 c. (1/2 lb.) brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. chocolate chips
Preparation

Melt margarine; add brown sugar and hot water and mix well. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
Add dry ingredients and nuts and mix well.
Spread in greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut into 2 1/4 x 1 1/2-inch bars.
This recipe makes 2 dozen bars.
