Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 stick margarine
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt margarine, just until it is completely melted.
    Remove from heat; add sugar and egg and beat well.
    Add vanilla and beat well.
    Add flour and dry ingredients.
    Then add chocolate chips. Mix until distributed throughout batter.
    Pour in greased 8-inch square pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cover with foil for 1/2 hour.
    This keeps brownies moist.
    Cut and store in airtight container.
