Combine flour and salt in a large, flat-bottomed bowl; mix well.
Add a little water a time, mixing as you pour to form balls of dough.
Knead 5 to 7 minutes, until smooth consistency.
Place dough in airtight container to prevent drying.
Use a little at a time, shaping and molding ornaments with hands.
Cookie cutters can be used.
Shape on cookie sheet covered with foil.
As pieces are added to make ornaments, moisten edges that will touch with water; if not, they will fall apart when baked.
