Liver.
Defrost the liver and soak in cold water for
Dredge sliced liver in seasoned flour.
Brown liver on both sides in oiled skillet over medium high heat.
Place onions on top of liver in skillet.
Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water, pour on top of liver and onions.
Cover and simmer on low until onions are tender and broth forms a thin gravy.
Wash liver and cover with boiling water.
Let stand 5 minutes. Drain.
Season with salt and pepper.
Brown bacon in hot frying pan.
Add onion; cook a few minutes and add liver.
Cook, turning frequently, for about 10 minutes or until done.
Remove browned bacon from frying pan while cooking onion and liver after turning liver once.
Add the bacon when finished cooking.
Serve onion with liver and bacon.

Cover and let cook about 20 minutes on low heat.

(The bacon cuts the taste of the liver.)

Heat fat or oil in frypan.
Cook liver in the pan over medium heat until browned on one side.
Turn liver and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in onion and saute until softened. Stir in sugar and continue to cook until onion caramelizes.

Dredge liver slices in flour and brown in melted butter for about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes per side. Remove from heat and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve liver smothered with caramelized onions.

Brown liver in cooking fat and remove from pan.
Pour off drippings.
Add turnips, carrots and onion to the pan.

Saute onions in butter with sage.
Cut calf liver into thin strips.

Fry liver in shortening, slowly turning only once.
When done, remove liver and use grease for gravy.
Brown flour in grease. Add onions (chopped) and stir together until onions are half done. Add vinegar, water, brown sugar and salt and pepper.
Cook slowly until gravy is the thickness you like.
Add more water if necessary.
Put liver back in gravy and heat thoroughly.
Serve with noodles or boiled potatoes.
Mix flour, salt and pepper.
Roll liver in flour mix.
Roll bacon around liver, then roll liver and bacon in flour mix.
Put toothpick in center of bacon and liver to hold together and fry until done.

Roll slices of liver in flour. Saute in butter until brown on both sides. Saute thinly sliced onion rings in another frying pan until golden brown.
Place liver on platter.
Turn onion rings into pan in which liver was cooked.
Add 2 tablespoons hot water. Stir to loosen sediment in pan.
Mix.
Pour over liver and let stand for 10 minutes.
Saute mushrooms and onion.
Chop liver into chunks and add to mushrooms and onion.
Cook until done in middle.
Sprinkle flour over liver and stir with spoon until well mixed.
Add water until thickness as desired.
Simmer on low for 15 minutes, stirring repeatedly.
