Preheat oven to 350
Place pierogies in bottom of casserole dish.
Place kielbasa pieces in casserole dish, making a single layer of ingredients.
Sprinkle butter pieces over pierogi.
Sprinkle herbs & spices over all.
Bake for 20 minutes.
Flip pierogies & kielbasa & bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
Serve & enjoy.
(I served mine with Dijon mustard to dip the kielbasa in).
*next time I might try a little dill sprinkled on the pierogies, it just feels like the right thing to do.
Combine water, bouillon cubes, carrots, potatoes, celery, onions, parsley, salt and pepper in large pot.
Cook over medium heat for 40 minutes; add milk and butter and cook another 30 minutes.
Serves 6.
This is a very easy and economical recipe. Serve with homemade bread.
Heat the oil in a saucepan, add the onions and saute for 3-4 mins. Add the potatoes and saute for 2-3 mins, stirring. Pour in the stock and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 mins. Add the leeks and cook for 5-6 mins. Stir in the instant mashed potato flakes and season then mix in the sausages and cook for 2-3 mins, until warm. Divide the soup between 4 bowls, add a dollop of sour cream and sprinkle with chives. Serve.

Variation Southwest Style Easy Potato Bake
Prepare as directed, using KRAFT Mexican Style Shredded Cheese, adding 1 can (4 oz.) undrained chopped green chilies to the potato mixture and substituting 1 cup crushed tortilla chips for the crushed corn flakes.
Using a large saucepan, brown onion in butter.
Add potatoes, carrots, green peppers, sausage, water, salt and pepper. Cook on low, for about 45 minutes or until the potatoes are creamy.
Add milk and cook until heated through and then add instant potato flakes. If you want a creamy potato soup add a 1/2 cup potato flakes, or if you want your soup thick like stew add 1 cup of potato flakes.
Let soup sit for approximately 5 minutes in order to thicken and then serve.
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm potato water.
Add to the potato water mixture.
Mix warm potato water, sugar and salt together. Mix egg whites and shortening together.
Add yeast mixture.
Mix together mashed potatoes and flour.
Add to yeast and egg white mixture.
Mix well and knead until smooth.
Place in refrigerator immediately.
Punch down occasionally.
May be kept for 5 days.
Wash chicken; remove skin and dip chicken in beaten egg. Place chicken in crushed potato chips and press both sides so chicken is evenly covered.
Place chicken in pan after putting a little oil in pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Makes 5 servings. Good with Easy Potato Bake.
Melt oleo in medium pan, add flour to oleo.
Add water, bouillon cubes and pepper.
Cook and stir over medium heat 10 minutes.
Stir in potato soup and soup can of milk.
Lower heat and cook 10 more minutes.
Right before serving, add 3/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese.

Mix potato chips, bacon bits, chives, onion powder, garlic powder, and dill together in a bowl.
Peel and boil potato.
Drain water, mash with
Brown sausage in a large pot.
Drain grease.
Add potatoes, onion and 2 cups water.
Bring to a boil and simmer, covered, about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Turn off heat and mash potatoes in pan coarsely.
Stir in evaporated milk.
(If you like thick potato soup; add instant potato flakes at this time.) Heat to serving temperature and serve.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
Mix potato flakes and hot water until all potatoes are mixed, but is very stiff.
May add more water, if needed.
Mix salad dressing, mustard, relish and onions; mix well.
Add eggs, salt and pepper; stir well.
May garnish with egg slices and paprika.
Combine potatoes, soups and water in a slow cooker.
Cover and cook on high setting until potatoes are tender, about 2 to 3 hours.
Stir in milk; add potato flakes to desired consistency, stirring constantly.
Cover and cook on high setting an additional 2 to 3 hours longer.
Spoon into bowls to serve; top with garnishes.
Saute onion in chicken schmaltz or vegetable oil until lightly browned.
Combine all ingredients except biscuits and mix well, the mixture should be the texture of stiff mashed potatoes.
Separate biscuits into layers.
Place 1/2 teaspoon of mashed potato mixture in center of biscuit layer and roll up, I bring the outside edges up into the center instead.
Place on cookie sheet that has been sprayed with Pam.
Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown.
Can be frozen before baking.
Peel and cube potatoes.
Put in a saucepan along with the onions and celery.
Add water, but don't quite cover the vegetables.
Bring to a boil, lower heat, cover and simmer for 25 minutes, or until all of the vegetables are very tender.
Using a potato masher, coarsely crush the potatoes, but don't mash them--you want chunks left.
Add enough milk or cream to thin to desired thickness and add salt& pepper to taste.
(It will take a lot of salt!).
Make serving size of 4 following directions of instant potatoes.
Pour in 8 x 8-inch pan.
Put crushed potato chips on top.
Salt and pepper to taste.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter.
Saute the onions until golden.
Add the potatoes, carrots, water, salt, pepper and dill weed.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 30 minutes (or longer if you want the potatoes creamy).
Stir in the milk and parsley and heat until hot, but not boiling.
Stir in the potato flakes during the last few minutes of cooking.
Yields 8 to 10 servings.
Combine Potato Buds & hot water.
Add remaining ingredients in given order, mix well.
Form into 2-inch balls with hands, flour hands occasionally so dough doesn't stick.
Cook in boiling salted water until they rise to the top.
Remove dumplings from water with a slotted spoon & place in butter casserole dish.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs & keep layering melted butter, dumplings & crumbs.
Cover with foil & bake at 325* for 5-10 minutes.
