For the casserole: If you're using meat, brown it, drain the fat, add a little water & add taco seasoning. I've done it with or without meat - it's good both ways. Add all other ingredients to pan & heat those up. Dump in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
For the Cornbread Topping: Mix together liquids, and then add dry ingredients. Dump this on top of the bean mixture and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven according to cornbread package. Grease casserole dish (I used 9 x

Mix cornbread mix, eggs, butter, salt, and canned corns.
Pour corn bread mixture into prepared 9X13 inch casserole.
Top with meat mixture.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0F until done, 45 minutes, until bread at the edges begin to brown.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix everything together and pour into a greased 11x7x2 inch casserole.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden and the sides are darkish.
Prepare cornbread using chicken broth and 2 teaspoons sage instead of liquid.
Mix together chicken, green pepper, celery, almonds, salt, pepper, onions, pimentos, water chestnuts and mayonnaise.
Crumble half of cold cornbread in buttered 13 x 9-inch casserole dish.
Add diced ingredients.
Crumble rest of cornbread over top.
Mix eggs, milk and chicken broth.
Pour over top of casserole.
Refrigerate overnight.
Before cooking, mix soups together and pour over casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes.

Brown hamburger with onions and peppers; then drain.
Then add chili; cook rice as directed.
Add rice to hamburger mixture; then mix cornbread or corn muffin mix.
Place hamburger mixture in bottom of long or round casserole pan.
Put cornbread mixture on top and spread over top of meat.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until brown.
Mix cornbread, as directed, in large casserole dish. Brown and drain ground beef. Stir in taco seasoning. Add to casserole dish. Add beans (undrained) and creamed corn. Top with cheese. Bake, covered, or, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
(Also good with green peppers and chopped stewed tomatoes.)

(cooked with onions), cheese, and cornbread mix

Remove from heat.
Combine cornbread, egg and half of onion
Brown ground meat and drain.
Set aside.
Mix up cornbread mix.
Pour 1/3 of cornbread mix into casserole dish.
Mix meat and other ingredients with 1/3 of remaining mix and add to casserole dish.
Cover with last 1/3 of mix.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Make cornbread (2 cup batch); crumble cornbread in bottom of pan, 6 x 8.
Pour pinto beans with juice over cornbread.
Layer on chopped medium onion, chopped bell pepper and chopped tomatoes. Mix mayo and dill pickle juice.
Pour over casserole and let set 30 minutes.
Crumble cooked bacon on top.
Cook and debone chicken.
Mash cornbread. Add butter and sage. Spread 1/2 cornbread in a buttered casserole.
Cover with chopped chicken.
Mix sour cream and cream of chicken soup.
Pour over top of chicken.
Add rest of cornbread mixture.
Pour broth over all. Should be very moist.
Add more broth, if needed.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Mix cornbread according to package directions.
Add corn; set aside.
In skillet, brown meat and onion.
Add salt, pepper, taco mix and jalapeno pepper.
Put 1/2 cornbread mixture in greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch casserole.
Add meat mixture, then layer of cheese. Top with remaining cornbread mixture and grated cheese.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until top is brown.
Brown hamburger and onion.
Add Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt and tomato juice; cook for 15 minutes, then add kidney beans.
Pour into greased casserole dish and top with cornbread mixture.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes.
