Fondue Trio With Fresh Fruit

For the caramel fondue, heat sugar, cream and butter

Chocolate Caramel Fondue

Melt caramels with 1/2 c cream.
Add chips and save marshmallow cream for last.
Use remaining cream to control thickness of fondue.
Place fondue in electric fondue pot on low.
We add 1/2 c loosely chopped pecans to make a turtle fondue.
Serve with bananas, strawberries, angel food cake, bite size brownies, mini chocolate chip cookies, marshmallows, pretzels, apples etc.

Caramel Fondue For Four

Remove plastic wrap from caramels.
Slowly melt caramels with butter and milk in a small sauce pan over med. low heat, stirring often.
Add a little more milk if it is too thick.
When melted and mixed well, pour into a small fondue pot to keep warm.
Serve with sliced fruit and tortilla chips.
Stir occasionally and watch for scorching as it can become to hot near the heat source.

Chocolate Caramel Fondue

Melt ingredients on stove top over med. heat, stirring until mixture is melted and smooth. Place in fondue pot and watch closely so that it doesn't boil or scorch.
Serve with dippers such as: strawberries, bananas, pretzels, pound cake or angel food cake, marshmallows, dried fruit. etc.

Colorado Mel'S Caramel Rum Fondue

Put all ingredients into your electric fondue pot.
Turn heat on to medium setting.
Stir frequently until completely melted and smooth.
Turn down to low and just keep warm.
OR.
Cook all ingredients together in microwave or on stove top until completely melted and smooth.
Add to any type fondue pot and keep heated for duration of the party.

The Melting Pot Restaurant Flaming Turtle Fondue

Using a double boiler fondue pot, heat mixture of chocolate and caramel to a temperature no greater than 135\u00b0F
Stir frequently. (For thinner chocolate, slowly add whole milk while stirring until desired consistency is reached.)
Slowly pour rum into fondue pot.
Ignite liquor by touching lighted match to edge of pot.
After flame burns, sprinkle nuts over chocolate mixture.
