Wash pinto beans.
Place in crock-pot and cook on high for 45 minutes.
Drain water from beans and rinse them again.
Place back in crock-pot with water to cover them.
Add bacon pieces.
Cook on low for 6 hours or until done.

Rinse dried pintos under cool water and drain
Put them into a large bowl and cover with hot water and let sit over night.This helps cut down on cooking time and take some of the \"gas\" out. They will swell quite a bit so you need a large bowl.
In the morning, rinse beans well with cool water, drain and then put in crock pot.

Brown hamburger meat and onion. Drain.
Mix hamburger and all other ingredients in a large crock pot. Cook for 45 minutes on high. This is good for a meal with creamed potatoes and bread.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and cook in crock-pot all day.
Place all items into crock pot. More broth can be added if desired.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Cook beans, water, monosodium glutamate (food enhancer), pepper, salt and garlic powder in crock-pot for about 2 hours on high; reduce to low and cook about 8 more hours, then add remaining ingredients and cook for about 10 more hours on low.
In a large skillet, saute green pepper, onion and garlic in oil for 3 minutes.
Stir in broth and cumin.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add black beans, pinto beans, tomatoes, corn and vinegar.
Heat thoroughly.
