Boil water in a saucepan.
Add in winter melon cubes and simmer for 25 minutes or till winter melon cubes are soft (transparent looking).
Add soy sauce, salt and rice wine to taste.
Remove and serve.

Sprinkle pork with cornstarch, cilantro, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and ginger. Mix eggs into pork until completely incorporated and the mixture becomes sticky.
Combine water, winter melon, ginger, salt, and sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, form 1 teaspoon-sized meatballs out of the pork mixture. Gently drop meatballs into simmering soup; simmer 8 to 10 minutes more until meatballs have cooked.
Remove melon skin and seeds, cut into 1\" squares. Slice ham into thin slices. Cook broth, 3 1/2 cups water, ginger, green onion, sherry,mushrooms, and melon for 1 hour. Add ham for 10 minutes. Remove onion and ginger before serving. Serve hot.
Wash the barley and soak for about 1 hour.
Wash goji and soak for 20 minutes.
Parboil the pork ribs with the ginger, trim off any excess fats.
Cut and clean the melon.
Bring the 1000ml water to the boil, add the pork ribs, melon pieces, barley and the goji.
Bring the water and ingredients back to the boil, then lower to a simmer.
Simmer for 1 hour.
Turn off heat and cover pot and let soup stand for 10 minutes.
Serve.
Cut melon and lemon, sprinkle with sugar (about 2 cups) and let stand overnight.
Next day, boil the mixture until clear. Add remaining sugar and boil until it gels. Bottle and seal.
Preheat oven to 375 F. Lay piecrust in pan and trim. Spread thin layer of mustard in bottom of piecrust and sprinkle with 1/2 tbsp of RawSpiceBar's Winter Herbs. Set aside.
Use a peeler to make long strips of all the vegetables. You want them to look colorful, so make sure there is color along the edges (especially with the egg plant). Put all the strip in a bowl and lightly drizzle with olive oil and 1/2 tbsp of RawSpiceBar's Winter Herbs. Toss until all pieces have olive oil and spice on them.
Cut fruits into 1/4-inch cubes.
Place remaining ingredients, except almond extract, in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
Add the fruits and simmer 2 minutes.
Stir in the almond flavoring.
Pour into a bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours.
This recipe can be doubled and unused portion stored in the refrigerator for several weeks to use as a garnish or side dish.
Serve as a dessert or as a side dish with Far East cuisine.

Using a melon baller, scoop out melon balls from each melon half. Place the melon balls in a large bowl; add the shrimp, mint, roasted peppers, lemon juice, oil and mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste and toss well. Spoon the salad into the melon halves and serve.

Add enough water to rinse your cans and fill a 22-quart pan.

Mix the squash with the salt, coriander, mace, ginger and flour.
Turn into a buttered 1-quart shallow casserole dish. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar.
Mix the bread crumbs with the 3 tablespoons melted butter.
Sprinkle over the squash.
(Recipe may be made ahead to this point and refrigerated.) Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until crumbs are golden and sugar has melted.
Makes 4 servings.
Preheat oven to 350.
Place squash on cookie sheet pan and bake for 60 minutes till tender and caramelized.
Remove from oven and let cool to handle.
Slice in 1/2 and remove seeds. (Discard seeds or rinse, towel dry and make my Recipe #102043 or #50958 it does work!).
Puree in a Vita mix blender optional skin and flesh with a pinch of salt till smooth.
Cool and place 2 cups in freezer ziplock bags. Freeze till ready to use in your favorite pie, soup, bread or sauce!
Combine sugar, orange juice, orange peel and ginger in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5-7 mins, or until thickened slightly. Let cool.
Toss melon balls with cooled ginger syrup. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour, or until ready to serve.
