In a medium bowl, stir together the tuna, peas, butter, salt and pepper. In a saucepan, stir together the flour and milk until smooth. Stir in the tuna mixture, and cook over medium-low heat until thickened, about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour over crackers or toast to serve.
Make white sauce by melting shortening in saucepan.
Add flour and milk, stirring all the time.
Bring to a boil.
When mixture is smooth, add peas and tuna.
Serve over potatoes or rice.
Will also need a big mixing bowl.
This recipe can be doubled.
Melt butter or margarine in sauce pan over medium heat.
Add flour & cook for 1 minute, (so you won't have flour taste).
Add milk & stir until thickened.

Cook macaroni as directed on package; drain.
Set aside in bowl of cold water.
Combine remaining ingredients.
Add peas; toss gently.
Drain water off of pasta.
Spoon about 1/4 cup tuna mixture into each macaroni shell.
Cover; refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
Drain tuna.
Combine all ingredients except noodles. Refrigerate.
Add noodles just before serving.
Drain pineapple very well.
Save 1 teaspoon pineapple juice. Stir together salad dressing (or mayonnaise), mustard and pineapple juice.
Using small bowl, stir together drained pineapple, tuna and celery and dressing mixture.
Arrange toasted English muffins in 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
Top each muffin half with 1/4 of tuna mixture.
Top with 1/2 diagonally sliced cheese.
Cook in microwave on High 1
to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Rotate dish 1/2 turn once while cooking. Serves 4.

Butter a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish; set aside.
In a mixing bowl, mix together the first 5 ingredients.
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the bottom of the casserole dish.
Transfer the tuna-rice mixture into the casserole dish and spread out evenly.
Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Place tuna in a medium bowl.
Combine milk, water and soup in separate bowl.
Add to tuna and stir well. Add peas, water chestnuts, half of noodles, plus tomato, celery, green onions and soy sauce.
Toss lightly to mix.
Spray 1 1/2-quart casserole with cooking spray.
Pour/spoon mixture into casserole and then top with remaining noodles.

Drain beans and rinse well.
In a large bowl, combine garlic, thyme, vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. Beat with fork.
Add beans and red onion to bowl , toss to coat.
Break tuna up into medium-size chunks and toss lightly with beans.
