Drain.

In a skillet, cook bacon on low heat until done.
Remove bacon from skillet to a paper-towel covered plate to drain.

Mike'S Favorite Spaghetti Sauce

Add spaghetti sauce and crushed tomatoes to a 5-quart saucepan and heat.
Brown chopped meat in a skillet and drain.
Saute chopped onions and chopped green peppers in heated corn oil.
Add chopped meat, onions, green peppers, basil, Italian seasoning, crushed red peppers, bay leaves, garlic powder, salt and sugar to sauce and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve over spaghetti.

Shortcut Spaghetti Sauce

Brown ground beef, along with chopped small onion; drain.
In crock-pot, put spaghetti sauce, tomatoes and ground beef.
Add remaining ingredients; stir well.
Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Serve over 1 pound cooked spaghetti or vermicelli or 1 pound of your favorite pasta, cooked and drained.
