Place slab of ribs bone side up on table
Cut ribs into portions.
Precook, covered in water, for 1 hour or until tender.
Using tongs, remove ribs to a platter.
If grilling, put on grill.
Barbecue ribs 20 minutes turning often and brushing with sauce during last 10 minutes to prevent charring.

Season the ribs on both sides
In a large bowl, combine barbecue sauce, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and cayenne pepper. Season to taste. Add ribs and toss to coat in marinade. Cover and chill for 1 hour to marinate (they can be chilled overnight if preferred).
Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium. Drain ribs, reserving marinade. Char-grill ribs for 8-10 mins per side, basting with marinade, or until cooked through. Serve with salad.

Note: If you would like sauce thicker, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch in 2 tablespoons water and add last 15 minutes.

Sprinkle ribs with salt, pepper and Schilling barbecue spice. Place ribs in broiler pan under broiler for 30 minutes to brown and remove excess fat.
Slice ribs into serving pieces and put in crock-pot.
Add onion and pour in barbecue sauce.
Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
Place sectioned ribs in a very large pot or boiler and cover ribs with water.
Add vinegar.
Bake ribs on high (400\u00b0 to 450\u00b0) for 1 1/2 hours; turn ribs every 30 minutes.
When water has boiled down to 1 to 2 cups, pour 3/4 of bottle of barbecue sauce over ribs.
Bake another 1/2 hour.
Turn ribs every 10 minutes.
Take out and serve.

Marinate overnight (in refrigerator) in pineapple juice and basil mixture.
Bake in roaster pan at 350\u00b0 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Then put on grill and coat with barbecue sauce for 15 minutes or so.
Ribs are already done so this just gives them that \"grilled\" taste and texture.\tMay put back in oven on \"warm\" with extra barbecue sauce until ready to serve.
