Cook boiling water, quick grits and salt by package directions.
To cooked grits, add 1 stick margarine and garlic cheese.
Beat until cheese and margarine are completely melted. Beat eggs in measuring cup and fill cup with milk.
Add to grits and mix well.

Add 1 cup quick grits and cook for 10 minutes with a rolling boil.

Bring water and salt to boil.
Slowly stir in grits.

Remove from heat.
Stir a small amount of grits mixture into eggs. Return to saucepan.

Blend well. Pour into greased casserole.
Top with cheese.
Bake 1 hour.

Combine grits and water in a bowl. Microwave on High for approximately 3-4 minutes until it reaches the desired consistency. Or as your quick grits label suggests.
Remove from microwave and stir in cocoa. Add butter and sugar. The butter and sugar measurements are to my taste, but you can add more or less as needed.

When grits are cooked, remove from heat and add the cheese, beaten eggs, butter and salt to the grits. Stir well. Spray baking dish with Pam. Pour into the large baking dish (at least 1 1/2-quart size). Sprinkle some extra cheese on top (I sometimes sprinkle a little Parmesan along with the Cheddar on top). Bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour.
