Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. quick grits
    3 c. water
    1/4 lb. Velveeta cheese
    3/4 stick margarine
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs or wheat germ or crushed corn flakes
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    dash of Tabasco
Preparation
    Cook grits, slowly stirring into boiling water, for 2 1/2 to 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
    Melt Velveeta cheese and butter.
    Blend in egg and add to grits together with Tabasco; mix well.
    Pour into a greased casserole dish; sprinkle with paprika and crumbs.
    Cook in preheated oven at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Double recipe to serve 14.
