Sour Cream N' Chive Pop Corn

Combine pop corn and butter.
Sprinkle sauce mix over buttered pop corn.
Stir until mix is well distrubuted.

Caramel Corn

Over medium heat, combine butter, light brown sugar, salt, vanilla, and light corn syrup and boil for 5 minutes.


Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. In large bowl, pour over 8 quarts of pop corn. Add nuts and stir to coat well.




Bake on large sheet pan for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

Boil ingredients until the mixture spins long threads when poured into ice water. Add 3/4 tsp. vanilla. Pour over three quarts of popcorn. Carefully form into balls.
Especially neat when covered in different colors of transparent tissue. Teens enjoyed doing this recipe for fund raisers. It can be multiplied for quantity.

Pop the corn. Put in big tupperware bowl. Shake bowl to get unpopped kernels at bottom of bowl. Lift pop corn into buttered turkey pan.

Mix all the ingredients needed for the ball as a dough.
Roll the dough as balls
Make a smooth paste with the ingredients under the \"For coating\" sub division.
Dip the balls into the paste.
Roll the balls over the bread crumbs.

In saucepan, cook onion and celery in butter until tender; set aside to cool.
In bowl, combine croutons, corn, eggs, water, salt, pepper and onion mixture; mix well.
Shape into 8 to 10 balls.
Place in an ungreased shallow baking dish.
Bake, uncovered, at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.

Pop corn in Crisco, about a dishpan full.
Boil the sugar, molasses and water until reaches hard crack stage (when dropped into ice water).
Takes about 20 minutes stove time and about 12 minutes hard boiling time.
Pour over popped corn, and with greased hands form into balls.
Wrap in waxed paper.
Makes about 16 medium-size balls.

Pop corn and set aside.
In large stew pan boil sugar, syrup (of choice), water and butter until a rolling boil is formed.
Add vanilla and reduce heat to a simmer.

Pop corn.
Place in large pan.
Combine syrup, sugar, water and vinegar.
Heat to boiling.
Add cream of tartar.
Boil to soft crack stage (275\u00b0 to 280\u00b0).
Remove from fire.
Add butter, baking soda and vanilla.
Pour over popcorn and make into balls. For extra color, add gumdrops and food coloring.

Marshmallow Popcorn Balls

Pop corn and pour into big roasting pan.
Melt butter and marshmallows in saucepan.
Pour over popcorn, a little at a time, stirring until all corn is covered.
Wrap in Saran Wrap.
Makes about 40 medium size balls.

Pop corn and set aside.
Combine sugar, honey and salt in small saucepan.
Heat and stir to dissolve sugar.
Boil to the hard-ball stage.
Add the margarine and vanilla.
Pour the syrup over the popcorn and stir.
Butter your hands and shape into balls, then wrap in wax paper.
