Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 pound popcorn (popped)
    2/3 c. corn syrup
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. boiling water
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine syrup, sugar, water, and vinegar.
    Heat to boiling. Add cream of tartar.
    Boil to soft crack stage (275\u00b0 to 280\u00b0). Remove from heat.
    Add butter, baking soda, and vanilla.
    Pour over pop corn.
    Form into balls.
