Add the rice to the vegetables and heat
Rinse rice.
Put all ingredients in pot with tight-fitting lid.
Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 45 minutes.

Add broth and salt.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 in oven for 45 minutes.
